THE LANGUAGE ACCESS PROJECT IS BACK

From May - August, Global Wordsmiths will provide translation, interpretation, and language access assistance at no cost to public school districts in Southwestern Pennsylvania. This cycle of The Language Access Project was designed to help public schools communicate vital information to English Language Learners and their caretakers about the return to school next fall in the context of COVID-19. School districts interested in participating can apply here until April 16th.

Listen to our Founder Mary Jayne Speak about the Intersection of Language Access and Mental Health on The Barrier Breakdown Podcast.

Global Wordsmiths will present information about language access as part of this free fair housing workshop for service providers presented by the Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations

FRIDA KAHLO: AN INTIMATE PORTRAIT

will be presented by The Frick Pittsburgh through May 30, 2021 and we’re pretty proud to have translated the narrative plates that accompany some of the photographs. FRIDA KAHLO! In Pittsburgh! Big thanks to The Frick for the opportunity to contribute.

With love,

Mary Jayne
